Society of Witchcraft and Old Magick
Student witches (neophytes) in the Society of Witchcraft and Old Magick attend a weekly group class during their year and a day of study.  They are also expected to attend as many of our full moon and Sabbat gatherings as possible.  Undertaking an initiation program in a structured formal magickal teaching system is a big commitment, but one that is beyond invaluable.  Students are given a list of initiation requirements at the beginning of the course of study and are helped along the way by the High Priestess and other Priest/esses in the coven as needed.  Enrollment in group classes led by Lady Nikki only happens once or twice a year, when time slots become available to be scheduled for new students.  If you would like to be invited to a free talk about starting new cohorts at the times when a new group is getting ready to be established, feel free to email Lady Nikki about this so that you get the invitation to the planning meeting.  Under certain circumstances, individual weekly lessons may be able to be arranged in either Canton or Hartford with one of the other teachers in the coven.  This would have to be able to be arranged in a manner that works for the teacher and the student.  Inquiries about this are welcome.  At this time we do not offer complete distance training, though much of the yearly curriculum can be done via zoom if needed.  It is still mandatory for the new student to attend the first class, initiation and some other priority teachings in person.  The reason for this is that we have a big emphasis on ceremonial magick in order to effectively learn tight energetic conduction skills and we also need to pass on certain energetic experiences effectively. There is much more to know prior to considering applying for membership and training, and so attendance at an informational session is required prior to submitting an application.
